Cardiovascular Health
High cholesterol is one of the most common conditions we treat in our practice. Although this problem puts patients at high risk for cardiovascular complications, it is usually relatively easy to correct with appropriate dietary modifications, exercise, stress reduction and dietary supplements.
A complete cardiovascular risk assessment includes the measurement of C Reactive Protein, homocysteine, fibrinogen, and other indicated tests. Dr. Traub contributed a chapter on the naturopathic treatment of cardiovascular disease to the textbook “Integrative Cardiology.”
